ANKARA, 22 April (Reuters) – The President’s decision, which made changes in the decision to impose additional customs duties on the imports of some products, was published in the Official Gazette today.
With the decision, tax rates were regulated on imports from countries included in the generalized preferences system of plastic, paper products, textile products, metal products, some electrical and electronic products, parts and parts of motor vehicles, wristwatches, pocket and wall clocks, and lighting devices.
According to the amendment made in the footnotes of the decision, the customs tax will be applied as zero on the imports made by the companies that use plastic and rubber products made of vinyl chloride polymers, paper and cardboard in rolls, and hollow rod products used in drilling works from alloyed or unalloyed steel as input in production.
In this context, no additional customs duty will be applied to the imports to be made by companies that use the parts and parts used in the brake systems of motor vehicles, excluding wheels, as input in production.
