Badger DAO integrates with corporate DeFi provider Fireblocks

Decentralized finance (DeFi) protocol Badger DAO announced its integration with Fireblocks, which offers digital asset storage, management and DeFi bridge for institutional investors.

“A strategic partnership has been established between Fireblocks and BadgerDAO to enable more than 200 corporate customers to securely hold their Badger assets on their platforms and run their Bitcoins through the Badger protocol,” the blog post said.

Chris Spadafora, founder of BadgerDAO, said the integration will help make Badger vaults and products accessible not only to the individual DeFi audience but also to institutional investors:

“Our intention is to help institutional Bitcoin holders save more. We aim to support many more central businesses serving the corporate market by Badger, as Badger smart contracts can be easily integrated by every individual and corporate user.”

Fireblocks first integrated with the money market Compound (COMP) in March 2017, providing enterprise access to the DeFi space. Many protocols have been integrated, including names such as Synthetix and Aave.
