3 developments in altcoins this week

Enjin Coin (ENJ)

JumpNet at Enjin (ENJ), a cryptocurrency project focused on social gaming, is launched on April 6th.

JumpNet is basically a scaling solution that aims to overcome the network congestion problem in Ethereum. Witek Radomski, the technology director of Enjin and one of the creators of the ERC-1155 token standard on Ethereum, describes JumpNet as “the high-speed bridge network that allows NFT creators to massively distribute thousands of NFTs for free”. A Proof of Authority (PoA) mechanism will be used in a custom Ethereum-based blockchain to give Ethereum an ‘always free’ scaling on JumpNet. JumpNet will be released on April 6th.

Hedera Hashgraph (HBAR)

Hedera has an important maintenance this week. The Hedera mainnet will go into maintenance on April 6 at 21:00 CET. This will take about two hours, according to the team’s statement.

XRP (XRP)

XRP had a busy day yesterday. The coin rose to $ 0.90, an increase of more than 40 percent on the day. As it is known, there is a lawsuit process between Ripple and SEC that has been going on since December. During this trial, the parties will meet at the discovery conference to be held by phone on April 6. The discovery conference request came from lawyers representing Ripple chairman Chris Larsen and CEO Brad Garlinghouse. Accordingly, April 6th has the potential to be an important day for XRP.
